He posted that he couldn't make it to a fan event for another show he used to be on, due to the wedding. And the absence of Wendy during the solution to Li's murder feels especially odd. Back in the 80s, Tripp and Wendy would've spent the entire summer in Montana tracking down Clyde, and falling in love. So, EJ thought playing possum would work, huh? This night is going to come back to haunt him! So, Ron is back & they're using flashbacks with an absolute vengeance. I know in Demonic Possession 1.0 that Reilly literally was concerned about wearing the audience out on DevilDoc so when they decided to extend he decided by several more months, he made a plan to use a great many flashbacks rather than write new scenes to explain what the flashback could. MA has to suffer the ultimate humiliation each time he leaves the show. There’s still a lot that they can do with the character. Members AbcNbc247 Posted June 4 Members Share Posted June 4 I liked Xander and Sarah’s scenes today. The relationship between Xander and his mother is a dynamic that should be explored. Not only because of what we already know about Xander being Victor’s son, but also because of what can be done with the character and how she and that relationship could drive story. Also, has anybody noticed that there seems to be an emphasis on the relationship between mothers and sons a lot? Kate/Lucas, Tripp/Ava, Leo/Diana and now Xander and his mother. I liked Chad and Steve’s scenes as well. Kayla’s anger towards Steve wanting to go to Montana made a lot of sense and I like that the show brought it up. Plus, Chad needs to be a part of this Montana adventure. And I hope that this all means that Clyde is finally gonna die. Members j swift Posted June 4 Members Share Posted June 4 (edited) 5/10 My prediction almost came true. I thought Ava would mistakenly kill Harris while shooting Clyde. It could still happen, but it seems like if it was going to happen, it would've happened today. I like that Sarah told Xander that she was searching for his mother. She's a busy mom, and I don't know where she'll find the time. But, this is one of those situations where soaps have characters keep information from each other for no particular reason. So, I am glad that they avoided that trope. I like Sarah and Xander, even though I felt like he had more chemistry with many of his former partners. But, how was Steve planning to fly to Montana with a gun in his suitcase? Don't they have TSA in their universe? He's a PI, not a cop or an ISA agent, so I don't think he'd be able to travel with a weapon in his checked luggage. I mean, he and Bo were Merchant Marines, so technically they're not even vets. Do we predict that they'll pair Xander's Mom with either Eric or EJ? The age difference would be remarkable. I don't think Steve or John need a love triangle. So, I wonder who she'll wind up with?
