So I guess Cam is gone for good, huh?

As better off as he is without that disgusting piece of trash in his life, I was hoping we’d see him again just to see him get back at her somehow. I’m sure he would be written as the bad guy though but I’d be on his side 100%

This crap with Mo’s son is just a trap.

And, I’m glad about Aiden as well. Hopefully, we actually see his storyline. Liz’s kids should be front and center. I wonder what the original plan was for Aiden back in 2018.

Maxie and Spinelli need to reunite and go off together with Maxie’s brood lol and just pop in from time to time.

Charlotte and Violet just need to away and never come back

Also, that’s a hell no to a Stella/Marshall pairing.

And, wtf is this obsession with Christina Comes Home for Christmas?

I haven't watched GH in ages, but my twitter timeline blew up today about Aiden coming out. I decided to check it out. While short, very well done. I loved how Liz picked up on Aiden using neutral pronouns and went along, didn't assume he was talking about a girl, which made Aiden comfortable in revealing it was a guy that he has feelings for. Perfect. If GH was smart, they try to go after the Heartstopper crowd. Give Aiden a love interest, give it decent airtime and don't make it a toxic misery fest.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! It's back!!

I always felt that was a strictly RC writing thing...since it started on OLTL and carried over to GH when he wrote it...so it warms my heart to see that FV keeps having it pop up.

Awww this makes me so excited for when I get to these scenes.

I really liked those Liz/Aiden scenes too.  I didn't expect him to come out to his mom so quickly.   I might be in the minority in this, but I would've liked to see how this gay Aiden story play out years ago when the writers obviously going there.  Though I can see why it was dropped because the actor was so young.  I've just never seen a TV show have a gay character at that young of age, and thought it would've been interesting to see how Aiden's mom and brothers dealt with him as he grew up.  If William Lipton isn't coming back, they should recast Cam.  I want him to be part of this story as well, and see how all three brothers interact with each other.

Oh I definitely think Cam and Jake know, like how Liz knew.  I just would've liked to see their reactions years ago when they discovered that their brother was gay.  We could've got some really good scenes with Cam/Jake discussing it, and then have Cam/Jake/Liz scenes as well.

I really think that before now, Aidan was too young for them to be PC enough to discuss it. It was kind of being insinuated back then. Aidan started being featured as a fantastic baker when he was in Charlotte's 4th grade class, which would have made them about 10 years old. No need to have brought this up that many years ago. JMO

I did want to reiterate how beautifully and subtly that was played, because it was down to earth. They gave Becky the beat and the close-up the instant Aidan used a gender-neutral pronoun to refer to the person in his class before feeling safe enough to say it was a boy. They let her note it but didn't overegg it, and she just let him lead and waited for him to say it. It was gentle and very real, those kind of scenes happen everyday IRL and should happen more often. It's the kind of education soaps excel at. Would it be nice if the scenes were longer than 90 seconds per sequence, sure, but that's Frank for you.

I saw a clip. It really was perfectly played by EH. I actually thought the brevity/compressed nature of the scene worked here (partially because the young actor is so green), although these shouldn’t be the norm. And yes—GH opens a lot of interesting doors and quickly slams them shut to focus on the safe “faves.”

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
