Pictures released the official trailer for “Barbie” along with brand new key art featuring the film’s cast, including “One Life to Live” alum Scott Evans (ex-Oliver Fish), who portrays one of several Ken’s living in Barbie Land. From Oscar-nominated writer/director Greta Gerwig (“Little Women,” “Lady Bird”), “Barbie” stars Oscar nominees Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, a would-be couple living the perfect life in a perfect place until Barbie has a full-on existential crisis. As for Ken, he’s just Ken. “Call me Ken!” wrote Evans in an Instagram post that has received nearly 65,000 likes since it was published. In addition to Evans and Gosling, other notable actors playing a variation of Ken include Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ncuti Gatwa. As for Barbie, she’ll also be played by the likes of Sharon Rooney (Lawyer Barbie), Ritu Arya (Pulitzer Price winner Barbie), Nicola Coughlan (Diplomat Barbie), Kate McKinnon (Barbie who does the splits), Issa Rae (President Barbie), Hario Nef (Doctor Barbie), Emma Mackey (Nobel Prize in Physics Barbie), Dua Lipa (Mermaid Barbie), Ana Cruz Kayne (Surprise Court Justice Barbie) and Alexandra Shipp (Author Barbie). The first teaser trailer released in December has been seen 10.9 million times and has over 220,000 likes to date. “Barbie” is set to hit theaters on Friday, July 21.
