WOW. I can't believe that Taylor was going to say 'Frak that Trick' and just up and marry Ridge knowing the truth? I guess I can see it. She would be doing it for her son and protecting him. Just...wow. It takes away my rooting value for her but well done and I was surprised.

That said...go on Steffy!!!! She was FIRE!!!

That whole episode was done so well. I was actually annoyed at each commercial break. That's how you build a reveal a la the old pregnancy pause.

Brooke says that she's not hungry as doesn't have the appetite for anything as Ridge, the love of her life, is marrying Taylor and being all dramatic. What Brooke needs right now is a plate of mashed potatoes and gravy smashed in her face. That'll make her eat something as she licks the traces of gravy in her hair.

Why do these conversations just drag on to the point where it's like, "Yes, Brooke. You said that yesterday and the day before that and before that."

It'd be nice if Katie could chime in and talk a little about Bill or Carter. Donna could possibly talk about organic honey. Something at least. Sheesh.

What ... EVER! Ridge is all like, "What happened to the woman I love? The one who always told the truth? This isn't like you."

Shut up.

She just found out too and was overwhelmed with everything. And you know what? If there was a framed picture of Brooke on top of the fire mantel, he'd be lollygagging over Brooke reminiscing about the past in front of Taylor.

Whatever. It's Steffy's fault. She could've kept her damn mouth shut or object to it during the wedding.

BLAME THE WRITERS! KKL and Patrika Darbo are both deserving emmys in the Category "Making The Best of the Lousiest Storylines"

Donna could Talk about attempting to have a kid, I always felt it was kinda Weird a Sexually Active Woman Like her only got pregnant ONCE, considering she only met her son after he was over 21, she could express her wish to raise a kid, but that she doesn't know how Eric Would react etc.

They should've tried It back When Jennifer was Pregnant in real life, a couple times actually, or the Brill Affair in 2013 being actually with Donna and she had the child that Brooke miscarried, I remember Bill had the hots for Donna when he first came to town, considering Brooke and Katie Were very close through the years, Donna was far more logical and maybe forgivable, But Brooke I never fully forgave for that

It's terrible, and maybe it has always been like that because I HATED watching B&B. The only times I really wanted to watch B&B was when Ridge (Ronn Moss) was by the pool with Thorne in a bikini swimsuit. I can't remember if Thorne was in a bikini or not. No, but it was Ridge who showed me the light and that I too can shop for really cute bikini swimsuits.

No, but in all seriousness, I feel like the show is written in a way to "beat around the bush". Kind of like this:

____________________________________________________

Donna (to Ridge): "So, how was your day today?"

Ridge: "It was a little uneventful. Brooke came in my office today and said that she needed to talk to me about something important."

Donna: "Brooke?"

Ridge: "Yes. Brooke."

Donna (doesn't believe Ridge): "Brooke. My sister ..."

Ridge: "Yes. Your sister. Brooke."

(Eric enters the front door)

Eric: "Did someone just mention Brooke?"

Douglas: (playing with his voice altering app) "Hi, Grandpa! Ridge just mentioned about Grandma Brooke."

Eric (to Ridge): "Brooke??? What on Earth for Ridge? Why would you be thinking of Brooke at a time like this?"

Hope: "I'd like to find the answer to that myself! Why did you mention Brooke? Brooke? As in the woman you were married to, Brooke? Or is there another Brooke you just met whose name is Brooke?"

Douglas: "I think he means Grandma Brooke wants to host Christmas at the cabin this year."

(Katie enters)

Katie: "Brooke wants us all to celebrate Christmas with her? How come Brooke didn't call me? (to Donna) Did Brooke call you?"

Donna: "I haven't heard from Brooke. (to Ridge) So, what did Brooke want?"

LOL it's not Steffy's fault this is ALL on Ridge. He lied and lied and lied and even Brooke to an extent, she wouldn't have hesitated to call CPS for real and gave Thomas the idea to begin with

Best comment I've seen today

Brooke should be in a baby bassinet where everyone can coddle her

It was Linda's Idea to Burn Anderson Manufacturing but it still was Alex Marshall Who set it on fire, It's Not because Brooke Mentioned it That Thomas has to do it, They have been Antagonistic ever since he was a child, they briefly were friends but He (ON Stephanie's Orders) ruined her marriage to Ridge back in 2011, She also knew about Thomas former Behavior and abuse of Douglas, which he resumed, came on nobody on that show is a saint, I Love that Steffy told the truth, Thomas will only get his due as the Bible and Liz Foster said "As You Sow So Shall You Reap", ASYLUM here he comes

    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

    • I started a separate thread for the same tribute, but of course it can be discussed wherever. doesn't matter where. Fyi  Jason Cook, Staci Greason, and Eileen Davidson will be there as well as Reckell and some of the current cast Thread for Live tribute to Drake https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68987-days-currentformer-actors-live-video-tribute-for-drake-hogestyn
    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
