Abigail death shouldn't have been made a murder mystery. It was poorly done. Abby tells Chad it was Clyde. Clyde goes on the run as the inept PD tries to track him down. End of story.

Yes!  Going on the run and having Clyde continue to commit the crimes would have been better.  Throwing the kitchen sink of suspects in and having it be Clyde was a stupid mystery.  Even Chad killing Clyde and having to deal with the repercussions of that would have been more interesting or someone killing Clyde and make that the mystery.

You are preaching the absolute truth.  I just think the stakes would be lower since no one cares about Clyde and the suspect pool would be bigger.

Anyhow, today's episode was boring.  I thought Cady McClain's acting was all over the place.  There were some characters in this show that were totally unnecessary like Xander/Sarah.

Clyde murder mystery would be great. I agree.

Xander and Sarah are so useless on the show. They should've been written off the show.

I think Cady is doing a good job minus her fake no tears acting.

The show seemed boring because there's no community involvement. All the stories are so isolated from each other.  The show is so disjointed.

Now I was not bored. But,we  must remember how much I hate Clyde! So I am in the gravy. Xander & Sarah were extra, unneeded. But I liked what Cady did. She literally cried through out the whole show. She never stopped. She never started. She just was constantly crying. I can imagine that IRL but have never seen it staged.

Uggghhh. Why isn't Clyde dead?

Other than that, this was a great episode. It was great to see the bonds between EJ/Chad and Julie/Jennifer. I don't have a problem with Cady, but I still wish that it was Missy playing all of this.

And once again, we see tons of potential for an EJ/Belle/Shawn triangle. All of this stuff with Clyde could help revive it.

I'm glad that after all these years, there's finally a set of that.

    • On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo.
    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
