victoria foxton
I was never a big WB/CW watcher. But this sounds dismal.

Members DRW50
So we've gone from generic teen dramas to generic fake reality shows for middle-aged men who can find better content elsewhere. All these mergers and buyouts are making TV a wasteland.
Members te.
Nothing about this is surprising - for the past decade CW (the network) has been functioning as a storefront window to sell CBS Studios and WBTVs productions to streamers; ironically, both getting their own streaming services (P+ and HBOMax) changed the business model and they sold it, so now they'll have to concern themselves with live ratings again. And the 18-34 demographic just doesn't watch television live - this means focus on live events and other things that draws in that casual viewer.
Members AMCOLTLLover
The CW is dead. The Arrowverse kept it alive and Riverdale a bit but with them all ending it’s game over for CW
Members DRW50
It was the Netflix deal that kept them going more than flop Riverdale.
Members AMCOLTLLover
The Netflix Deal and the Arrowverse. I remember how hype they were between 2012 until like 2017.. From there on it started to go downhill
