This topic needs to be moved to correct place @Toups

Lyle was a hunk back in the day. Didn't he also pose in his birthday suit?

I didn't care for him on The Carol Burnett Show. I preferred the Tim Conway years.

Lyle was a treat on Wonder Woman. It's a shame he and Lynda had a falling out in the finally year of WW. He was upset that he was being squeezed out of WW. The producers wanted a younger audience and only wanted to feature Lynda Carter. The ratings were still good after Lyle was shown less but CBS decided to cancel it over the Incredible Hulk which had better ratings.

All that said may he rest in peace .

Although I know that WW's producers moved the characters and stories out of the WW2 era in order to keep production costs down, in retrospect, I think the show itself lost a lot of its' charm when they advanced to the present-day.

RIP Mr. Waggoner.  As a WW and "Carol Burnett Show" fan, I miss you already.  :(

I preferred the present day WW years.  Glad CBS made it a point to change it so they'd pick it up since ABC was dragging its feet.
