Surprisingly, counts look more balanced this month than it has in years.

They dialed Mark Grossman waaaay back.

Which is a good thing. Grossman talented but it's the writing that's weighing things down with Adam.  Anytime Adam gets used he's overexposed beyond the point of return. MAB turned Adam into a major evil villain with Engen and Muhney; within Hartley's first two months, it felt like half of GC already knew Adam was alive and masquerading as the deceased Gabriel Bingham. Grossman's initial introduction was fascinating but ended up quickly rushed. At least this gives the character a break and a reset of sorts after nearly eating up the show. 

 

@FrenchFan I don't think that was Goddard's last airdate, just the last actual scenes he has filmed with Christel Khlalil.
