The Canadians got a new show today. I'm glad they did, I like seeing the day ahead spoilers that were supposed to happen, before the pre-emption. They are currently two days ahead of the US show. I do wonder if they will get a new show tomorrow.

Wednesday's US show that aired today isn't as good as the show that will now air on Friday. The heavy focus on the Rosales family, including Mia making a fool of Rey and the JT stuff isn't definitely isn't as good as what should have aired today.  We've had quite a few pre-emptions the past few months and I wish the show wouldn't keep setting the original airings back.

I liked that today's show that aired didn't have any Rosales on it. (Though Lola was mentioned). I thought it was a nice use of the cast. In particular I liked seeing Kyle interact with Ana/Devon, Kyle/Summer and Jack/Kerry. Also, I thought the scene with Billy trying to appeal to Christine about mentioning the affect that prison has had on Lily and could have on Nikki/Victoria was interesting. And I liked seeing Summer hover around the Abbotts in the courtroom. It was nice seeing more of the cast used/interacting with each other.

The writing and direction are still subpar but man, that classic score alone elevates a mediocre episode. I'm praying they've retired that stupid guitar strum that used to end every scene because as of right now the show sounds fantastic.

 

It even managed to make me pay attention to all the drama surrounding that non-entity Lola.

 

 

Catching up on the show, and the musical scores has totally elevated the material. The scenes with Christine interrogating Phylis, and that score that was used. Daaamn I missed it.

 

LOVED MTS episode tribute. Very well done. I wasn't expecting that at all.
