Even for proudly non-voting/opinion-having '80s Republican Peter Baker and Michael Shear (who once hid in a close family friend's bushes for a story) this is a strange premise.

Comfortably Smug is one of the worst people on Twitter and I don't read anything attached to their name.

As for Lemon, it's obvious someone at CNN is out to get him. I question the reasons (I'm guessing one is his race and the other is his being gay), but I have never forgotten the way Lemon presented himself before flipping to fit into a new culture (for the network and the country). That made me completely unable to trust him. I also found his binge drinking antics less amusing and more of a cry for help. I'm not surprised to hear that he is such a messed up person, but if at least two things about him were different, he'd be the star of the show at that [!@#$%^&*] factory.

I've always found Lemon fun but clearly unstable. I can tolerate him in doses but it's no secret he puts his foot in it constantly. Sadly these stories are far worse and don't really surprise me.

They need to fire that balding Lemonhead and put Angela Rye, Abby Phillips or Phil Mattingly in his slot.  Phil is so fine!
