Eh... it's a medical procedural and they aren't wildly different from each other. Unless the script existed before hand I'm not sure how they'd prove it's basically just a CTRL+F version.

Probably starting with the documented trail of WB clumsily trying to bully the estate out of a creator credit for Crichton on the revival. It wouldn't shock me if a script or pitch with Carter existed though.

It’s a shame and I do honestly think ER is ripe for a reboot/follow-up series. Maybe an even grittier take if it’s a streaming series on MAX. The ER finale even set things up perfectly with Rachel Greeen following in Mark’s footsteps. A premise like this never goes old and characters can weave in and out easily.

I do, too... but even the NBC series was quite gritty in its take.
