My first instinct was to think it was coordinated, similar to those three attacks that happened within minutes of each other in London.

 

Waiting to hear more information.

So now, I'm hearing that the man who hit the people on the bike path may have involved drugs.

Not a lot of information other than 7 dead, 15 injured. Terrible.

 

My mistake it was on a West Side bike path in Lower Manhattan. I actually know that area well.

Saipov doesn't sound particularly Middle Eastern, sounds more Eastern European to me.

 

ETA: The perpetrator is Uzbek who has an I.D. from Tampa Florida.

Uzbekistan is a former Soviet republic located in Central Asia.
