VI gave his best to the role despite the bad writing...one minute he's a murderer, next he's a lover. The idea of the character was ok but the 30 years in prison bull crap killed it from the beginning. No one spends that long in prison and comes out with power, money and is able to turn a family upside down, nearly murder everyone then move in and take over, and gain Victor's trust.
