Tie? Please .94 and .85 doesn't constitute a tie, despite rounding. Plus, the number of 18-49 viewers also show a nearly 10% difference. On the positive side, CBS ratings are solid and B&B has clawed back from the post-Aly disaster. BTW - as always, thanks for posting. You're still the best, Toups! :)

Those are big numbers for B&B. I am surprised. The only thing I can think of is because the vets like Eric were used….Was this the wedding week and collapse?

Weddings can still bring in viewers.  And once again B&B hits 4 million viewers for a non-holiday episode.....they did it twice this week and almost got a third.

If you didn't have the breakdown, but nice that we do, it IS a tie - both shows 0.9 W18-49.

 

Anyway, good for B&B, the show has gotten interesting again.

Yes... unless Perez Hilton (who officiated it) brought in the ratings - LOL if he knew about these numbers, it would go to his head.

If only a Liam-free week and higher ratings would make Bradley use him less….I doubt it.

Congrats to B and B but this huge increases dont last. Smarttv has been nothinh but consistent its nuts very steady ratings. Jean and Shelly will be here for a good while.

Toups, B&B is behind Y&R just 778,000 viewers - is this the closest the show has gotten?  I know you keep track of things, just curious.

Soapsuds you are comparing a show that has consistently had higher viewers for years. In 2011 GH was getting 2.1 million viewers. Give this dynamic duo the praise they deserve ratings are good.

That's a fair statement.   There is nothing to learn from comparing GH's ratings to B&B's because the content has never reflected the ratings.  Or are we to say Y&R has been the best soap on TV for 26 years, but 27 years ago it wasn't?   CBS just has a larger daytime audience  no matter what the soaps put on. 

The ratings for GH are still a mess. A .7 rating in the demos is nothing to get excited about. The ratings for GH are still in the toilet. Pissy is a rehashed, boring, repetitive and no talent hack writer.
