The Sharon and Nikki stuff is so childish and immature. That looks bad

This show is regressing, they are reverting to things based on ideas that once provided some entertainment but neglect the fact that back in the day when Nikki and Sharon were opposing forces during Sharon and Nick marriage, the writing was so much better and their issues were actually grounded in ideas that made sense (e.g. Nikki's fear that Sharon may have been pushing Nick into marriage and fatherhood too fast and Sharon disliking Nikki's meddling and judgement).  Now it's silly retread.

Y&R's desperation is really showing in these promos.  Nothing there that makes me actually want to tune in these days.

Meh. The Sharon and Nikki rivalry has always worked and will continue to work for a reason. I don't see any reason why these two should stop hating eachother and sharing scenes. It's like Katherine/Jill. Why ignore the way these actors can play off eachother so well if it makes for good T.V.
