Remember when "MADtv" was poised to give SNL a run for its money?  Yeah, me neither.

Looking back some of it would not be on TV today, probably (like Ms. Swan) but at their best I thought they had a strong cast - stronger than SNL has had in a very long time. Even now I don't understand why Debra Wilson isn't a bigger name.

Man, you sleep! (as my freshmen would say). MADtv at its peak was way funnier than SNL has ever been, IMO.

I loved MADtv and still watch the old clips on youtube. The cast was talented and I agree that Debra Wilson should have a huge career.

MADtv consistently ran circles around SNL, because it was actually funny. Almost all of Debra Wilson's skits were hilarious.
