As powerful as this could be, it's too damn much on the heels of ALL the other death and Hope's trauma that happened yesterday. Is she going to marry him on his deathbed and become a widow for the second time in a week?!

LOL. Waaaaay too soon. So Bo spends like two and a half months being tortured to get a few weeks at best in Salem? Awful.

Ugh.  And I hate that promo spoiled his diagnosis for me, dammit.

Wow what a jip. They should have kept him around for three more months of story at the LEAST. They could have played more of the aftermath of Aiden, had Bope struggle to come back together because of it all and THEN, just as they finally move on and get the love back start kicking in his illness. At this rate he'll probably be dead by the end of the month. This is just a stupid waste and way too much trauma at once. Just like bringing Sami back grieving Will for three days and then having her off on a lame mission to find EJ by the end of the week.

I should have known better by now than to get too invested after a big plan to save Days campaign.

I suspect they're a little boxed-in by how much time Reckell was willing to commit to. Weeks of the scenes of him in captivity and being tortured were probably filmed in a single day. What they should've done, though, is get Bo back to Salem and then pre-shoot a few days' worth of scenes with Hope, Shawn, Caroline, etc., to sprinkle over the next month or so -- THEN launch into the brain tumor thing. It would at least have spread out the turns in the story.
