Honestly, I tried with the first season but this show sucks. I found it shocking how poorly it showcased London, one of the world's greatest cities and a personal favourite of mine.

The women are not likeable and their faux pretension is wearing. They're not the real ladies of London - Caroline Stanbury might think she matters, but she doesn't.

Only woman I knew from season one was Caprice, who I felt got a horrible edit. No wonder why she didn't agree to sign on for the second season.

IMO, this displays both Brits and Americans in a bad light. While Annabelle and Caroline were pretentious and elitist, the American women were no better. Especially Marisa and Juliet, who both came off extremely thirsty and eager to climb the social ladder.

I get that the UK (and a lot of Europe) focus a bit more on class than other prejudices, but this show took it to the extreme. I'll try and watch this season b/c I love the scenery but I don't see myself sticking to it. 99% of the women are repulsive.

Ohhh, DF.

I admit that I am sorry about Noelle as well, but given what happened to her fiancée, I can understand.

I am also curious about how Annabelle will be given that she was sidelined by her horse accident. Given how people feared her, I want to see it.

After watching the repeat, I would have to agree with Marissa...which I found funny since I did not like her last season at all.

Juliet has always been thirsty for the acceptance. She was like that last season and it looks like she will be that way this season. How dare she do what she did. She should have told her to cancel.

I watched it. The show still doesn't impress me: it's the damn Americans like Juliet pretending they know what the hell they're talking about in London.

Caroline Stanbury is still incredibly impressed with herself - oh well that's fine. She's sort of hilarious.

Annabelle is the real deal, and I like Julie Montagu.

I could not believe Juliet being such a selfish, stupid, bitch. I don't know why Marissa bothers.

I'll be watching next week.

    • It was a good episode. I didn't expect things to unravel so soon.   One thing I still don't like about these big events: Where was everyone else?   This is a big event. Everyone should've been there.
    • Mitch, thanks for that history of the Reardon Boarding House kitchen.  I had always assumed that every time the kitchen set returned, it was a recreation of the original set.  So I have been wrong about that.   Was the kitchen set ever used later, while Buzz and the Coopers owned the boarding house?

    • Do they ever do anything well?  The show is about 4 week story arcs - if that it feels like.  Why wouldn’t you spend a month of subtle hints.  Late to events and don’t telegraph it.  Have repeated issues with time; I had a friend whose Mom suddenly was forgetting half the meal in the fridge to be heated for a meal; twice her husband had to go to her work to get her because she was still working and only noticed no one was there until he walked in to find her and make her come home (it was a doctor’s office, there’s not that kind of job);  knowing she had an appointment and not be worried by it, etc.   No, they have him do a head bonk and bam it’s cancer.     It’s almost an insult.
    • I know that's right Queen.

    • Today showed why almost no one comments on this crap soap. -- We're back to pretending that there aren't SCORES of cosmetics companies out there --  only Jabot and whoever else opens up shop in Genoa City to be the competition. No real business runs this way. -- Marchetti is supposed to be an internationally-renowned fashion house, yet both Chelsea and Sally are ready to walk after being high-level executives there. -- It's not often women leave choice executive positions in their field of expertise to work in a business they're clueless about. -- Sally had a lot of nerve shading Chelsea with "It's easy to see Adam's influence on you" when the same damn thing is happening with Billy. -- I'm glad Lauren told Michael to quit, since we've all been mouthing that for weeks. None of that story is helped by CLB's over-the-top acting. -- The scene with Victoria helping a sick, coughing Cole walk to their car on the way to the hospital was laughable. Wouldn't rich people call a damn ambulance? -- Claire was really concerned, wasn't she? She stayed in the doorway instead of helping her mother, and then headed right to Crimson Lights for coffee. Why bother with checking on her possible terminal father at the hospital?
    • Leslie couldn't get her Clair Huxtable evening dress for prom, but she finally got it now.
    • Lol!  Why?  Just sincerely asking not judging.  It did have a lot of action happening I suppose.
