I think The Apprentice is pre-empted next week so we can watch Ali Sweeney cook :D

I liked Lenny, but he was horrible so bye! Less laughs though from now on.

I love Charmaine! And I like Tarek and Roxanne too. I hope those three go far. Michael came out of nowhere to make some kind of impression this week

Lee was already starting to annoy me, but his comparisons to Trump just did it. WTF?

I loved Lenny and his hard ass attitude but he did need to go. He was so rude in the board room talking over Trump and Caroline...lol. I liked his accent too and he was fun, but really not apprentice worthy

I want to like Lee but he annoyed me the way he stood up for Lenny and tried to bring Charmaine down even though she didnt deserve it. I was almost expecting Trump to firing him as well but he found it admirable.

Totally never noticed Charmaine's southern accent before. I like her and she handled herself well. Lenny lost points with me when he was such a sour sport with her at the end

I cant stand Sean and his accent. Usually I love a british accent but the way he speaks annoys the heck out of me. I wish they'd give him less airtime bc it grates my ears listening to him

Oh I LOVED Lenny talking over Carolyn, Donald and Bill especially when he told Bill "Then why bring it up?!" About his bad presentations skills, lol. I love a guy who isn't an ass kisser like Lee, never have I seen someone totally uneffected like Lenny. I love this guy!

I taped and missed the second one. :(

Anyone know where I can download it?

***********************************************

I'm sad to see Lenny go, he kicked ass and was dead on with his short and brutal comments.

I. HATE. CHARMAINE.

Michael is too overcritical of everything.

LMAO at Roxanne laughing her ass off when Michael rang her up.

I love Charmaine! Man was I happy to see Lenny go - he was just totally out of line with most everything and he has that type of personality where he never does any wrong no matter what - and I can't stand that.

Michael - wow, he lost it for me. If it takes you 3 hours to decide on a color, then you need to work on something else.

Lee is so annoying - I'm done with him - he needs to go!

It was sad to see Leslie go...I liked her, but she was too quiet for most of the season.

Andrea is a nutcase. The hat idea sucked and how dare she just make that decision the way she did - telling her team who totally hated the idea what was up like that. Way to get your team to work for you stupid !@#$%^&*].

My pick to win is Allie or that Kelly Monaco-look alike.

haha yeah - Allie and that one chick left their notebook full of notes at the museum on Ellis Island and they went back to get it and the boat left them - they had to catch the next boat and were totally set back a couple of hours - which is when Andrea made the cover and when they got back they hated it.

It was so funny.

Yup, Tarek pretty much handed Lee the win. Hopefully Charmaine brings that up next time

Finally Andrea's gone, but I kinda wanted Allie fired for some reason  I was kinda hoping for a double firing, their program sucked (and maybe one reason was them calling it a "brochure")

I think unless Tarek, Roxanne, and Charmaine completely mess up next week, they're safe. My three faves :) I hope Charmaine does well as PM.

    • Not to ramble too far off topic but it happens a lot with comics too, especially only wanting to keep cheap talent around and pushing out creative voices. There are some patches where creatives can go to start their own worlds...wish that was true with soaps, but who knows, maybe it can happen someday. I never thought we'd get a new soap this year.
    • Very true & also at least in the case of stand-out HWs, it is fraught with exhaustion & burnout.
    • Plus we are never going to have a Shonda Rhimes, a Dick Wolf, or a Chuck Lorre of daytime -- a single brilliant person who could come in and change the genre -- because Shonda, Dick, or Chuck would only be able to work on one soap opera at a time, not three or four at the same time as they do in primetime.  As long as TPTB insist on the 60-minute format, we will never have another super influential individual like Phillips, Nixon, or Bell.  They simply would never have time to do more than one soap opera at a time and that would stifle their influence overall. Thanks. So maybe this is happening to some degree in other entertainment genres.  I don't keep up with the particular franchises you mentioned, so I was unaware.  I appreciate your perspective.
    • I think it's become more common in other genres in recent decades, as the industry as a whole has collapsed - these are complaints that have been made about creative talents in the MCU, Star Wars, Doctor Who, etc.  The MCU is in that place now as they burnt so much goodwill that even when their new movie got strong reviews, the audience didn't show up - similar to how AW got some praise for their 89-93 material compared to some of the barren years beforehand, but viewers just weren't coming back.  (I know they did return, somewhat, in the JFP run, but not enough to make up for the big budget she used)
    • I mean I really hope so. Still kinda amazed though that it would get by Standards & Practices. A pair that was talked about that I could see it was Jacob Young & that guy who kept changing what name he went by Someone Martines at least part of the time, but at any rate Jacob was playing Lucky & this other guy was playing Nikolas.
    • Excellent explication. That doing it in these two examples, is not like doing it in other similar genres or franchises, so one could easily postulate that the people who hire do not generally consider "newbies" but instead insist upon experienced people, which leads to rehiring rather than hiring from "outside" which is what your closed system is all about.  When you think about it how many people can you name who did soaps who came from outside? I can only think of 3 HWs : Pete Lemay, Hogan Sheffer & Michael Malone. For EPs only 2: Wendy Riche & Linda Gottlieb
    • I saw some people mentioning this and I was curious too - did Bo already know Caroline was dead? Maybe they decided it was too much for Bo to process losing Caroline along with Victor and Doug.
    • @asafi Thanks for sharing. A nice milestone. I'm not sure if she is referring to just DAYS, as otherwise she isn't alone (Ken Barlow and Rita Fairclough on Corrie are two others).

    • Someone making that must have had a laugh. I have to admit I never saw any chemistry between them.
