So Jason Aldrich has appeared?I knew he was mentioned. Was this a one episode thing? I haven't been keeping up on TD on a daily basis.

I haven't either, just caught it in a conversation on FB. Apparently he showed up to defend Steve....

I never knew there was a temp Steve.

On the Hellman's mayonnaise commercial toward the beginning of that clip, Jennifer Taylor (Detective Chris Egan on Edge of Night) appeared as the lady whose chicken salad had not tasted very good.

 

And, was that Ellen Tobie (Grace Endicott on The Edge of Night) in the Fresh Start detergent commercial?

Nancy Carroll, who played Pat Kirkland's mother on the show was in fact her real life mother.Nancy Carroll had been a very popular actress in the early 30's under contract to Paramount. she retired from movies in the late 30's.

There were several temporary Steves on The Doctors over the years.    When I was watching the show, an actor from Where the Heart Is played him for a few days.  (Rex Thompson?)

Jason hasn't appeared yet. But that's interesting. When Steve mentioned Jason recently, he said he was a doctor living in Texas. In a recent episode, Steve and Carolee were discussing names for the baby and settled on Stephanie. During the conversation, Steve mentioned his mother Mona for the first time.
