At first glance I read this as "John McCook is not happy about it" and I thought, well, I guess his days on B&B are numbered.

I couldn't give dos cacas about the political aspects of this. I'm just annoyed that he equates being a soap opera producer with, I guess, being ignorant of politics. Colleen Bell's ability or inability aside, it's a cheap shot to keep calling back to her job as a B&B producer as if that's a telltale sign of stupidity.

I agree. Now if he wanted to call into question the whole practice of giving these cushy jobs to big donors, I'd be on board, but he won't do that of course.
