The show is such a hot mess, but I have to give her credit. She took a nothing part and made something with it. She also has a great attitude.

MW has always been a class act. She never criticizes the writers, S/Ls, etc. I've been a huge fan since she started on ATWT. One of my biggest disappointments was when she chose to leave the show during her first pregnancy. Fortunately, she came back and no matter what hot mess Maura was given to work with, she never came across as going through the motions.

I gotta give Maura credit---she manages to be honest without stepping on toes or sticking her foot in her mouth. I think a number of actors would be served well following her example. Her praise is a little enthusiastic, but she never comes across like she thinks she's "owed" anything, in spite of her status and reputation.
