Sad to hear about this. Such a quirky, lively screen presence. Roger Rabbit wouldn't have worked without him.

    This is quite dumb of me, but it's only today that I realized the man from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and Hook's sidekick were one and the same. May he rest in peace. A huge part of my childhood, as it turns out.

    Mona Lisa was where I was first exposed to him and I thought he was good. Then he was in Cotton Club and I liked him in that too paired up with Fred Gwynne. Shame about how he went. He will be missed.
