I know there have been several "fans" who've done that, I wouldn't be surprised

Wasn't there a GH fan that was banned here after a comment he made when GH was preempt because of the Sandy Lake incident?

My first thought is that it's a CBS viewer. An older viewer who doesn't have the option or know-how to watch her stories online or on an alternate cable channel.

It's hilarious though. I can almost picture what she looks like...

The OJ Trial coverage definitely affected soaps' numbers. Numbers sank, executives panicked, stories started getting crazy to gain back viewer attention, and hence the infamously outlandish stories of the late 90's.

I remember when my local affiliate in mtl pulled GH out of their schedule years ago without notice. I called them and the poor customer service guy answered that from now on it would be airing Passions instead.

I think he must have assumed that i was certifiable.
