We had really awful weather last week, so according to prevailing wisdom, ratings should SOAR! Plus it's sweeps, right? So surely the news will be wonderful.

So happy for Days with the increase in Viewers and Demos then maintaing them. Days is truly on solid ground and the show has truly been healed from the regimes of JER 2.0, hogan, higley, MAR and Dar. Tomlin, Whitesell, and LB have truly found their footing and to be honest Days hans't been this strong or solid in over a decade.

Y&R: Really enjoying Shelly's writing. These dialog writers been writing the [!@#$%^&*] out this show ESP JANICE ESSER!!!!!

Numbers arent that bad....What happened on Thursday to make Days number go up to a 2.3? Another 4.0 for Y&R and going upwards on Friday.

I agree that Days (and really all our soaps) haven't been this solid in a decade....however, I would by lying if I said I wasn't slightly disappointed that Days didn't go up with the Olympics - I know they have been time shifted in some markets and I don't think in any markets the Olympics lead INTO Days (which did happen in 2008 and resulted in mega spike in ratings) but I was still hoping that more eyeballs on NBC would be a good thing for Days. Regardless, I'm happy with these numbers!

Here in Denver, DAYS was shifted to the MyTV affiliate (the NBC affiliate owns them and does shared news). It was only a fluke that I noticed. (Of course, The Doctors stayed on the NBC affiliate.)
