Such a good episode with Tom and Tom finally joining LVP in partnership (for a screaming deal) and Stassi stressing out but pulling off the event.

Lala making her presence known with trashing Tom and Katie’s marriage is a big splash. I don’t know why Tom just said “I have no recollection” rather than outright denying it.

Jax and James together is bizarre - how did those two become friends?!

No idea, @DaytimeFan when those two started to get along. Birds of a feather...

That said...James is coming across good this season. And not that I hated her last season, but I'm loving Lala this season and her scene with Ariana was cute. I like them together.

Over Sheana and was right with Stassi when she was like wtf why is Sheana talking to her as if they are friends. lol.

Loved LVP putting a foot in Tom's butt verbally. If you are like this in a marriage, how will you be as a partner?

It's been dramatic, but fun and not at all toxic. I'm actually looking forward to it this season.

I'll say this much...nice to see Kristen can still stir the pot. Sad that Brittany is still going to give Jax a chance (or should I say Jason now given the promo for next week?)

Oh, the transgendered Host looks like she's going to recur. Cool.

Wow. Poor James. I would have never thought I would have said that a year ago. He felt really hurt by Lucas and the gay rumors. But yep...that can be L.A. for you I guess.

WOW. at that Katie bombshell. Explains quite a lot about her. Not dying after falling through 25 stories from a skylight would change me, too. It's sad she does not show depth more often.

Hmmm...at the girls accusing Stassi of being racist. Entitled...yes. But racist...yeah. I guess I would have to say I don't see it.

This season of Vanderpump Rules is the best since season 2!

Arianna will find ANY reason to not like Stassi.

Lala and James are the gift that keep on giving!

Any idiot can see Jax would much rather be with Stassi than Brittany.

Arianna is so much more into Scheana than Sandoval. Obvi.

Crazy Kristen makes this show SOOO much better!

Katie Blah and Tom Blah are the glue.... I GUESS.

I heard about the facelift, but never knew how it occurred.

Same.

And I agree. It is a rare thing to hear LVP curse so she was clearly P.O. And it doesn't seem to be going away judging from next week's promo.

I agree. It was a chore to watch last season.

But this season? I can't get enough of it. It's been good. We even have recurring characters again. From James's gay 'friend' to Billie (who I find fascinating) to even Faith...it's been good.

    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
