I agree with your take on this episode (from what I remember) as well. I think they've started to deal with Celia's issues better, but it's still not there yet, and certainly wasn't back when this aired despite, as you mention, a genuinely frightening and compelling dream scene. I really like the actress who seems to be Billy Clyde's number 2 in work or whatever--she's a good character actress (and seems just the right level of over the top without quite going as far as that hysterical one woman they have had in the protestation scenes.)

Thanks for reading all that crap. My reviews may sound somewhat harsh but for the most part I enjoy every episode. I just don't connect to the stories. I mostly have strong emotional connections with some of the characters.

For the record Carl Doctor wink.png , I like reading your reviews. I don't comment on them because I don't want to spoil you on upcoming eps.

IMO, your reviews don't sound harsh at all. I'd call them tough but fair.

Carl's still fine. Thanks for that - if you want to spoil me in that's OK with me, I know some bits and pieces anyway.

I don't mean to be dismissive or glib so I am happy if I don't come across that way. These shows get enough of that treatment as it is.

Some stories, like Cassandra's, I do understand what they're trying to do, and I skip them mostly because I don't want to see the subject matter, not because of the quality.

That woman is very natural. I don't know if she's been in anything before.

The Kids in the Hall lady is ridiculous, although perhaps she's supposed to be.
