I agree with this. I would have never known that KdP was this into Blair and Todd from what was on screen. She always seemed into each pairing as far as I could tell.

Even the shiteous ones like McBain, Patrick, Max*, and Spencer Truman.

That's just a fairy tale! KDP was never used to lure back fans. GH never signed KDP and used her to usher in the ones they really wanted. Once that was complete, she was asked back and was super happy until she got the script and learned that TnB were over! KDP told a fan at an August event that FRon decided to go with Tarly and she was very sad about it. She then gave an interview and said that every time she visits, they appear to be chipping more and more away from TnB. That made her sad too. Nothing about Blair and the integrity of the charater. Nothing!

FRon have been hacks since the beginning of time, but KDP didn't mind working for them and thought (hoped, prayed) they'd bring her over to GH so she could be with her husband, Todd. Reality is a mutha!

That's because she's a fantastic actress. I never doubt that KDP can get the job done. However, Blair can move on as much as she wants, but when Todd gets a love interest? KDP goes bonkers, and this is the worst yet. Will she sell the love interest onscreen? Absolutely, but will the fans care when she's done nothing but talk about TnB and how they belong together forever and ever? KDP just makes things harder on herself. Her time should be spent making certain this new show is successful and moving past Roger! Forget what he's doing on GH and who with!

Realistically, how many fans even know this is going on? I follow the woman on twitter and had no idea she was over invested in T&B until this thread. I just figured she was humoring fans. Of course, I do turn off retweets, so I didn't know about that. Still, I doubt most fans are as invested/in the know as many of us here can be. She's probably making as many uber fans happy with her T&B love, as she's pissing off.

Admittedly, I have no love for OLTL and won't be watching but I think it's a shame that the show's return has been defined by this PP/ABC pissing contest. The people working on the show deserve better.

This. I would have no idea she was saying anything if not for this thread. I have no opinion about it since only a handful of Tweets have been posted here and none of them seem that strange to me and I'm not going to waste my time hunting down more.

The important thing is that KDP always gives 120% onscreen, that's what matters IMO. She spent so much of OLTL's last 10 years on the air selling crap pairings with third-rate characters and playing second fiddle to FakeTodd's love interests. The pairing with Eli was the one potentially great pairing Blair had since RH's departure, she and Matt Walton sold the hell out of it, only for it to be destroyed in the most ridiculous, senseless fashion. Then Howarth finally returns and T&B are aborted. If she's feeling bitter right now, I can't say I blame her.

TOTALLY disagree here. Max & Blair is what got me into Blair's character (and Kassie Wesley NowDePaiva). I LOVED Max's Gambling Addiction and his finally cheating on that dolt Luna with Blair. Their first love scene, in the hotel in Atlantic City, was SCORCHING!!

I also liked them when they were re-paired for Max's swindling Asa (and Renee) into believing he was their son, the brain tumor, and the ensuing triangle with Skye. I really liked their chemistry onscreen and Max Holden is my all-time favorite OLTL character.

And like you, Max is also my all time favorite OLTL character. My favorite male one, at least. My favorite Llanview female? Gabrielle, of course! (with Blair close behind as well)

If there's one thing I want from OLTL 2.0, it's to have Max and/or Gabby back. You guys would have to pick me up off the floor!

P.S.: Is that Max & Blair love scene on YouTube yet? I've never seen it.
