Just bought from a 1.99 sale at a local video store:

V, the complete miniseries

Shirley Temple Colletion

Santa Fe Trail

The Talented Mr. Ripley

You Can Count On Me

The Touch

E.T. (2 disc set)

Urban Legend

Silence of the Lambs

space Cowboys

Top Gun

The Towering Inferno

The Scorpion King

I'm adding Dallas: Season 6 tomorrow, and Steve, The Towering Inferno? The greatest action-adventure motion picture of all time, IMHO. :)

I have that SE, and The Poseidon Adventure: SE.

I totally agree with you about The Towering Inferno. I already owned The Poseidon Adventure on SE so did not buy it. And the copy of The Towering Inferno is the earlier DVD too. Both are great - just without all the extras. I will probably buy the others someday.

I have Earthquake on my list to get next. I loved all those disaster movies from the 70's, but The Towering Inferno was my favorite. And Susan Flannery looked damn good in it too.

But dude......Jennifer Jones.

I'm still sick over that.

It got her an Oscar nom, but.....did they HAVE to? :(:D

Dallas Season 6 is great! I have seen the first 2 eppys already. I love this season!

Did you order it and get it already? Damn! That was some of the finest television I have ever seen. Every single episode is can't miss. It was the last time Dallas had a cliffhanger every single week. :)

Walmart had it already on sale on Saturday. :) I agree ever episode is not to be missed. I also loved 80-81 and 79-80 but this season starts the beginning of greatness for Dallas fans. I cant wait for Season 7.

I know I hated that too. I loved her character and hated when that happened. But I hated when it got Susan too.

Susan got a Golden Globe nom for the movie. I think Most Promising Actress or it could have been Best Supporting Actress. I don't remember now.

Finally got Dallas: Season 6 today.

The Best Buy that had them near me had 41 when they opened this morning. I got mine at 2:30pm, and how many were left?

Six.

I know that most shows don't do too well on DVD, but I guess I now must realize that Dallas will be that rare exception....that is, until Season 12, when it went downhill.

I guess, too, that this particular season is one that alot of fans want.

Where can we create a Dallas thread?

Probably on Primetime Discussion. The show is still on the air on Soapnet.

  • 2 weeks later...
