I tweeted to KDP to know if the show would explain how Cutter got out of prison, and she said she forgot that Cutter was in prison, and that she doesn't think if it would be explained, but we have to discover together to find out if we watched the show.

Let me prepare you now for disappointment: It will be maybe one line at best, and then over. No one cares.

But how could he have escaped a murder charge though?

Either he served his time and got a commuted sentence, or he got a good lawyer, or any number of things.

Or maybe Alex got him bailed out of prison, but how would you know that it would be all explained in a throwaway line? The last time we saw him, Cutter's fate in prison was his cliffhanger on ABC's OLTL that was orchestrated by PP since Josh Kelly originally signed with PP during their first attempt to revive the show!

Yes, and I can guarantee that whether the show had returned a year ago or right now, Cutter would still have been out of jail in five episodes or less.

It was there as a minor cliffhanger - the fact is he is out and it is done. It was only there to leave the audience something to briefly ponder. There are not going to be long, in-depth discussions of how Cutter got out of prison. He is out and active.

I just don't want the explanation about how Cutter got out of prison to be dropped or used in a throwaway line on the show! And there shouldn't be a long in-depth discussion about it either!

Too bad.
