Cady was born in 1969. Ryan Bittle in 1976 & Eric Nelsen in 1991

Okay, Ryan is a little older... Jill was born in 1947 and MEK was born in 1959.

I always thought it was funny that DC was born in 1938, JB in 1949, MEK in 1959 and CM in 1969 - they spanned four decades, and yet somehow managed to make a believable quad over the years. Plus, JB is only two years younger than JL, and she played MEK's lover/wife, and JL played his mother.

Who'd have thought Julia Barr would end up the face of AMC in 2013?

I wonder if

Adam postponed it in part, at least, due to J.R. apparently ending up in a coma. I can imagine him being rather tortured about this incident occurring on the night of his engagement.

I know, but I absolutely love that she is!!!

JB notes that they are still very much in love, but I suspect the long engagement is a combination of the limbo caused by JR's coma, and Brooke feeling they are committed to each other whether it be an engagement or marriage. You also have to wonder if Brooke technically owning the house, and not being married to Adam, will also play into the story at some point.

Personally, I think Adam hasn't been up to much scheming with JR in the coma, but that could change slightly with his revival. I would like to see Brooke and Adam eventually marry in a lavish wedding since they never had a big-to-do event, and since they have been together, on and off, over a period of 25 (30 years with the 5 year jump) - it would seem about damn time!

IDK, I mean if JR is in a coma and Marissa is out of the picture, then one would assume that Adam/Brooke and Dixie have been raising AJ. Krystal and David are the other grandparents, so one has to wonder if David is in jail if Adam helped put him there to keep him away from AJ. Remember the custody battle after Babe died? I could absolutely see Adam scheming to put David behind bars to keep him away from AJ, and David getting out hellbent on revenge.

On the other hand, Adam is the one who got David out on bail as a "thank you" for keeping Stuart alive. Either way, I'm sure the custody of AJ was an issue during the "lost years." I also wonder if Brooke wouldn't have fought Adam on fighting for custody of AJ against Dixie or David since Dixie would have been a virtual stranger to AJ, and David possibly headed to the big house. Plus, at least to me, it makes it more interesting if Brooke was more responsible for raising Dixie's grandchild than Dixie was/is given that the very existence of JR broke up Adam and Brooke's marriage.

I thought Brooke's pregnancy with Jamie was the absolute best karma ever served up on a soap opera! When Brooke admitted to Dixie that Jamie was Tad's son, and Dixie through a freaking hissy fit, I wanted to reach through the screen and punch her - and I was, I think 12 or 13 at the time. The very first letter I ever wrote to AMC/ABC was over how massively unfair and just plain WRONG it was that Dixie spilled the beans about Jamie to Tad. That was something Brooke and Brooke alone should have had the privilege of doing, considering that it was HER son. I absolutely hated Dixie for those two things plus for breaking up Brooke's marriage to begin with, and I never did find anything redeeming about her after that. Still can't stand the character, and I wish she'd stayed dead.

FWIW, I think Adam/Brooke raised AJ...assuming Marissa died as a result of the party, Krystal was injured and couldnt care for AJ and David went to jail, that leaves Adam (and Brooke) or Dixie - who with or without Tad was a stranger to AJ at the time. Besides, it works for the reason you mention (it would be interesting if Brooke raised Adam, III when Adam, Jr destroyed her happy marriage) and because it creates all sorts of angst/conflict for JR and his relationships with Adam, AJ and even Dixie. If JR is responsible for Marissa dying (and I think he is) and hurting a whole bunch of people, I can't imagine he is going to be all warm and fuzzy when it comes to JR...and i think if Adam raised him, he will love and respect his grandfather and be close to him...with that in mind, how would JR react if his son has the relationship with his father that he never had? How wouldhe react if AJ puts Adam on a pedestal no matter what (much the way JR did with Tad) and has the same conflicting emotions for JR that JR always had for Adam? How does JR handle his son being close to Adam and being closer to Brooke than Dixie? And the kicker...Assuming AJ is a pretty decent/"normal" kid, how does JR reconcile Tad/Dixie "protecting" him from Adam (and by extension keeping him from having the relationship with him that he will see his son have) when Adam raised AJ and AJ is a good kid? In between railing at Adam for stealing his son/begging AJ not to hate him, does JR resent his mother/Tad (just a little).

I'm once again too lazy to quote everyone I agree with.

It was douchey for the new Peter to post shirtless photos complaining about how he couldn't eat pasta or whatever. I just hope the guy can act.

I'd love it if Adam & Brooke raised AJ and they're still in conflict with Dixie. I'm just so glad Julia Barr is finally getting her due as the leading lady of this show!

I'm also intrigued by who Evelyn is. I think I may have said this before, but I doubt they'd cast such an iconic actress as Francesca James if she weren't in some way connected to the previous characters she played.

I might have missed this not being on here for a couple of days, has the first air date been announced yet?

I would happily look at Eric Nelsen's body, thank you very much.

But would Eric feel comfortable?

I don't think he's into the geriatric set.
