I was kind of thinking the same thing. So I guess we'll be getting the announcement tomorrow when the first airdate will be.

I wish they had gotten someone cuter to play AJ

I think he's cute in a geeky way, but regardless, I find the casting spot on--and refreshind. Seriously, when we have a waxed eyebrow male model as Petey, the show needs some variety in their younger cast--and I'm glad they went in that direction. What kills the NBC soaps for me is just how pretty the younger cast tends to be--I know that's how soaps have been for a long time, but some variety makes it more interesting to watch.

I think he looks the part and comes off like a real teenager. He also seems to be able to act. These are the important things. Another sneering hardbody would've bored the !@#$%^&*] out of me. I'm tired of seeing just hot dudes trying to pass for 18 at 30. I thought he was a smart choice which ABCD under Frons would never have allowed, simply because he looks like an actual kid.

Precisely (Jesus, I'm not so used to seeing Vee as the voice of reason that he seems to have been the past 6 weeks or so ;) )

LOL the three of them are so irrelevant to any of these proceedings, it's almost painful to read their "discussion."

As I said in the OLTL thread--none of them have worked under Agnes. Poor Tristan seems to think they're hiring someone who hasn't written since the 70s... Yes, I'm an Agnes fanboy, and she's definitely made some mistakes, but she's also proven very adept at writing current stories and embracing new genres--I doubt Tristan would even know she wrote Bianca coming out (and why should he? Why ask him about Agnes again?)

Yeah, God forbid the actors be happy. We've had a good decade of miserable actors playing miserable material miserably. I'm glad they're having a good time.

I think if DM is saying this is the best time she's ever had on AMC is pretty incredible considering she's been there for the highest highs (the 80s) and the lowest lows (the last 4 years).

Well she missed Pratt--the very pit of the lows, but, yeah. I don't remember Debbi chearleading like this before--so I trust her instincts.
