Lesley didnt adopt Laura, she is Laura's biological mom. Laura had been taken at birth and was raised on a compound with Amy. When Lesley found Laura, she took them both in.

1. Taken in? I thought that Monica was well into her 20s when she came on as a doctor in the late 70s. Was her triangle with Alan & Rick a case of her truly loving the doctor of humble means, yet choosing to go with the doctor with the big money in order to secure her station in life?

2. So, basically, Evilena's had sh!tty taste in men for 35+ years? I wonder how come the writers never had the same consideration for her as they did for Bobbie and Monica (bad girls who at least got one good man in their years on this show).

This was before they both moved to Port Charles. Gail was Monica's foster mother when she was a little girl and a teen. I don't know which one of them showed up on the show first.

I'm not sure if it was universal. I just know that from what I've seen, I really dislike her. Always have. I assume others felt The same.

I think TPTB saw her as someone to cause conflict to characters we actually care about.

She was on 5 years (1978-1983)

She was involved a lot with the Q's but had some other stuff like with Scott and Heather.

Richard's career was helped quite a bit by GH. Not sure he did much for the show.

Jennifer was played by three different actresses, including Roseanne and the woman from All in the Family whose name escapes me.

Amy mostly gossiped but had some stories, like with the crew including Blackie.
