I've always loved Mac. He's the last good guy on soaps. I think he deserves a woman who appreciates him and that's not Felicia.

I'd argue that Dante is the closest thing to a good guy (if it weren't for his unfortunate Sonny asskissing) on this show aside from Mac these days.

Has Mac had a woman that has been completely and totally into him?

I haven't seen much from Dante but hasn't he done some shady things? I could be completely wrong.

I can't think of any specific instances at the moment, but the shady things that he has done have been to cover Sonny's ass.

Even though I obviously don't have Soapnet, I'm trying to follow along based on the schedule but since I have no idea what time it is there or where they are at in the marathon, I'm now lost lol. What episode are they up to?

Good to see even as Jason Q he was as much a douchenozzle as Jason Morgan. That scene with Karen, she should have punched him and Brenda both in the throat

I happened to find Jason Q's PC90210 style to be quite dapper back then, thankyouverymuch...

Jason looks ridic. LOL

Jason's hair looks really bad though.

Jane Elliot was pretty amazing and that “oh what could have been” rivalry with Abby.
After a couple of rewatches since getting KL on streaming I can see why now Strasser had negative feelings about her Knots experience. There’s not much to Dianne Kirkwood at all other than being a diva caricature, and her character just fizzles out only making 2 brief appearances in S12 (and not the 3 most sources claim) with her exit being a throwaway scene of “oh yeah she was still Karen’s boss and is acting unnecessarily cruel”. I would consider the misuse of Strasser a waste of talent.

This is how I felt. I also hope they're misleading us when it comes to Max. I don't want another year of him being the same mess he was before. I hope that we get to see him actively trying to be a better person before getting drawn into whatever they were teasing.
This is exactly how I feel. I stick around for those individual scenes and the relationships. I just need one story I can latch on to.

I thought it was OK - my main complaint was they were too vague. We needed at least one or two solid moments.
I'm still enjoying individual scenes, relationships, performances. Once that stops I will go back to not watching, as I often have.

True re: just throwing Frank/Chelsea/Fletch in a story to use up their guarantees. They even had Fletch switch careers and go into business with Hamp and run the Blue Moon.

I don't know any spoilers or have insider knowledge but I don't think Derek is going to disappear. It's so hard to say since the show has so many heavily recurring actors. Based on that my assumption is that he'll probably linger in the background but I do think we'll still see him here and there. I noticed the show posted an interview with him on Instagram talking about his favorite moments of season one. That and the fact they seem so hesitant to write anybody off.

It was so beneath her. It really disappointed me. They could've had anyone play that role and they gave it to her? Now that I think about it, I think she could've been a better Claudia. I feel like she could've provided the kind of balance that Donna Mills brought to Abby. I never bought Kathleen Noone when she tried to show the softer sides of Claudia. She felt very one-dimensional and evil.
