October 27, 201213 yr Member She was one of the members of Blaque, as well as an actress (Bring It On). http://blogs.ajc.com/atlanta-music-scene/2012/10/27/remembering-natina-reed-of-blaque/?cxntfid=blogs_atlanta_music_scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=quIsoT1GZro
October 27, 201213 yr Member I used to listen to Blaque when I was a teen. They had a sound very remiiscent of TLC. Too bad they didnt have more success. How sad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdNmCmbLIo0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT-x-j7KZsY&feature=related
October 27, 201213 yr Author Member Apparently they were proteges of TLC...kind of eerie considering how she and Left Eye passed. I just saw them in an old infomercial a few days ago.
October 27, 201213 yr Member I remember that song playing on the radio almost every hour, so I remember the group well. Very tragic news.
October 28, 201213 yr Member I was so sad when I read this... she was my fave. My other Blaque joint! Very sad that they were working on new material Thanks to the fan love.
October 28, 201213 yr Member They were essentially a two-hit wonder with 808 and Bring It All To Me. God, is it me, or has late 90's/early 00's fashion aged worse than early 90's/mid 90's fashion? Edited October 28, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
October 28, 201213 yr Member This was another song of theirs from their first album. Though, it wasn't a hit. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-QyaUP_35Jc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Edited October 28, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
October 28, 201213 yr Member AHHHHH another good one! I remember begging my mom for this album when she told me I got the free one and it was before they really blew up and before I knew who they were. I thought the cover was cute and just wanted it but damn did I not blast all these songs from their debut album. Now I wanna go home and find it.
October 28, 201213 yr Member I guess it didn't help that they were on the same record label as Destiny's Child, who were getting a major push around the same time (a push to be THE girl group of that time), which is why they sort of fell off the radar after only two real hits, I guess. October 28, 201213 yr Member Another good one from when they did soundtrack work... I'm Good from Honey. So sad I still blast this and dance around the house
October 28, 201213 yr Member They had more personality than Destiny's Child This was another song of theirs from their first album. Though, it wasn't a hit. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-QyaUP_35Jc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I loved how it went from slow to fast and then back LOVED the 808 remix and they sang a beautiful rendition of Time after Time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqtECXvaVL0 AHHHHH another good one! I remember begging my mom for this album when she told me I got the free one and it was before they really blew up and before I knew who they were. I loved the hell out of it. I ended up giving it to my younger sister and she embraced in the Blaque love as well Edited October 28, 201213 yr by Cheap21
