I have to say, I have wondered if one infamous WoST character still lurks among us here at SON.

I don't remember it all. It was some Jackie Zeman thread Soapboy hasn't even posted in yet and Bellcurve attacked him out of nowhere, and that was after attacking him non-stop relentlessly in the GH thread. Before it was over he was attacking everyone and telling someone else they were the face of AIDS or something to that effect. I think someone might have that in their signature actually.

The thread was titled "Jackie Zeman 2011". I can't remember who started it. The thread is still here, but almost all of it was deleted by the mods. Basically, it was just like you said. The poster started the thread, which was about an interview JZ gave to SOC saying that she hadn't been invited back to GH for the BJ heart redux, but was willing to return. Like you said, I hadn't even posted in it at all yet, but BC made a long, vicious post about me, attacking me for liking JZ. I should have just ignored it, but instead I attacked right back. However, BC went off the rails - A complete soap-meltdown. And MULTIPLE posters here joined in the thread defending me and telling BC to back off. Basically, BC couldn't handle it and went off on everyone. The worst was when Vee stepped in to defend me, and he said "My mom told me not to argue with people that have AIDs". He also told Juliajms to "Do us all a favor and kill herself".

In retrospect, thinking about that thread....I don't miss BC at all. Lol.

LMFAO I do recall that. I was on WoST, too, but once they moved the board to a new format/software, it was so hard to read. The discussion was always amazing, though.

I remember the Rick Rhodes thing on WoST, omg that was funny. I sent him a private message and he actually responded in a polite manner. I just gave him some kind, constructive criticism over his choice of words to others ("Want fries with that?"). And I agree, the new format during the last few years kept me from posting much once it was changed.

I think I started at SON around 2003, before the whole Salem Serial Killer mayhem started. I used to get into it with the DAYS fans who worshipped Reilly's work to the point that I would just think of them as the Reilly Rimmers. Had a few bitchfests among some DAYS fans, but I eventually stopped posting much due to sheer disinterest in the genre and lack of time. Now that I have a job where I'm the desk all weekday afternoon, I've been more active in the past couple years.

Was there once a moderator named Bree? A big Days fan, Ugly Betty fan-fiction (there's a Family Guy joke on the tip of my tongue...). We used to go at it, or rather, she'd go at me and then use her "power" as a moderator to keep herself from getting "warnings" while I would. Oh, the drama of completely anonymous soap fans on a message board.

I got into it with Bellcurve once, I think over Kim Zimmer. Can't remember. I still don't know how/why he/she got booted. EDIT: Ah. I just read the rest of the thread. Real classy dude/gal.

I think I got into it with bellcurve once or twice, but it was never anything big. I used to get into some epic bitchfests with Sylph and R Sinclair, though. And we used to have some very sensitive OLTL fans who personified the whole "ugly stepchild" complex.

Forgive me if I somehow made this up in my head, but wasn't there an actor you interviewed that said he was molested by one of his co-stars? I've remembered that tidbit for a long time, but have never been sure if I remembered completely wrong and have been too afraid too ask.
