Members allmc2008
Did they recite the "Great and the Least" poem for that anniversary?? I can't find much information about that special.
Members ellabelle
Let's see... that was centered around the Crystal Ball that year. I'm not sure about the poem, but I'd be surprised if it didn't happen at some point.
Members SFK
Was this the year Edmund did it? He did it for some ball, but I'm not sure if that was an anniversary or a special number of episodes mark. And for the record, I could not BELIEVE they let Edmund do it. Members MrQuartermaine
I don't think they did, but I'm not positive. I know Edmund had a very nice speech, but the episode ended with Joe & Ruth in bed and after a montage of scenes over the years, Ray MacDonnell broke character and said a few words to viewers. Members SFK
Found it. He recites it at the end of this clip. Oop, "least" not "meek", John. Please register in order to view this content
Members ellabelle
I miss the Crystal Ball. Yeah, I get that it was done in Maria's memory, and that once she was alive, it kind of lost part of the allure, but they really should have come up with some other annual big gala. Members allmc2008
Thanks Everyone!! I did not realize he said it. I was hoping someone like pheobe, myrtle, or joe would have said it. It is really jarring that he was the one that said it. I also thought it was dorky how AJ, Miranda, and the other children of PV recited the poem at the last episode of the series. I think the poem should be only said by long-term veterans. Members Cheap21
Its great to see AMC support around here, but its not necesary to make a new AMC thread for every topic you want to discuss/ask about. Alot of this can be consolidated into the actual AMC thread located here: http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/40179-amc-tribute-thread/page__st__2900
Members SFK
OMG, here you go again! Cheap, you don't run this motha! Traffic is so slow on this board these days, a special thread isn't going to hurt anybody. If Toups can start a million superfluous threads in Primetime Oxides for every new series announced, let alone never discussed (no tea no shade), this one little thread won't do no harm. Members Cheap21
Its not just one little thread; its multiples. Is it a major issue? No but I'm saying most of this can just be put in the AMC thread bc like you said traffic is slow anyway
