A few years there was a thread started by the late SteveFrame's partner which listed some Daytime TV surveys from the '70s. A few other people, including myself, added some surveys.

I'm going to link to the old thread, and use this thread to periodically add some surveys I have which weren't previously posted.

I just noticed the Best Soap column in this poll- look at the "Last Issue" list- there's a spot missing- #5. I'm almost positive this is when Generations was cancelled. Is it possible that Generations peaked at #5 it's last month on the air? I don't EVER remember seeing Generations higher than #10-13.

Thank you both for reading! This is my last from the SB era for now but I do have others. I also have a Weekly survey from around early 1990, and it heavily features SB. Interestingly enough there are no rankings for Guiding Light - no favorite actors, couples, and #9 in favorite soap. I guess their fans just weren't as vocal.

Yes! This is the other magazine Readers Poll in the 80s I was referring to- in my area, it was easier to find sometimes than Daytime TV, probably because Daytime TV actually sold. Please post ANY that you have in here Carl!
