July 1, 201213 yr Member A better question might be to ask what happened in the rest of the world on that Monday. I suspect something external happened that resulted in a lot of people being home to watch TV. Maybe it was weather or the wildfires or something else but for all those people to tune in Monday then disappear for the rest of the week tells me that it wasn't about the show.... Great point!
July 1, 201213 yr Member Thanks for the ratings info! I'm so glad the numbers for Y&R were bad. I had really planned on watching the show again after walking away from it for almost a year because of the hit and run storyline with Phyllis, Christine and Paul coming out but it was pretty clear on Monday's show of this week that Nothing is going to happen to Phyllis. I also don't think anything will happen to Phyllis & Nick based on what the actors said in a chat. I'm so sick of MAB writing storylines that go no where but back to the way they started. I think I 'm officially done with this show after 30 years of watching it.
