Deidre Hall & Marlena Evans: Countdown to 4000

As of June 27, 2012, Deidre Hall (Marlena) has appeared in 3,988 episodes of "Days of Our Lives." She will be the first actor in "Days" history to reach the 4,000-episode mark later this summer, either in July or August. Hall is one of just 7 "Days" actors to have appeared in 3,000 or more episodes. The others are: Kristian Alfonso (Hope), John Clarke (Mickey), Drake Hogestyn (John), Peter Reckell (Bo), Frances Reid (Alice) and Alison Sweeney (Sami). Sweeney just joined the group when she appeared in her 3,000th episode on June 11, 2012.

I know she has a lot of detractors, but Marlena is a huge part of Days history, and it's a fantastic accomplishment. Congratulations to her.

Congrats. Hope they show old clips.

I don't think the show will even acknowledge it on screen.

I wish they'd show old clips, much like they just did for Lexie. It's the most interesting aspect of the show these days; its past.

They should bring back Don Craig for the occasion, just so that mail thing won't always be his exit.
