Well. It's kinda like this. They could do a better opening for a show that just won the Emmy for Best Drama.

Also..Just making time for more ads. I'm sick of everything being over commercialized in this day and age. You really don't notice it until you watch a sitcom or a drama from the 70s/80s/90s on DVD for the first time and realize how much is cut for commercials when the same episode is rerun on TV.

And? This is a problem because...? Soaps dont make as much money as they did back in the days and they all have been on a downward slump for years. If cutting down the opening time in half can help them make some extra money than I say go for it. If thats the case, I wish OLTL/AMC had shortened their openings if it would have bought them a few extra months on the air

If I started humming Faces Of The Heart in public. Someone might wanna go watch GH. Now, there's nothing to hum or sing. Or actually give identity to a program. And, it's bullcrap.

You honestly think people are going to start watching this show if you and others start humming the theme song outside had they gone back to FoTH? blink.png

If they want to save money they should just go to a title card. Put up a photo of a hospital and leave it at that. If they really want to save money then there are some people they should fire when their cycles are up - the cast is full of dead weight.

I don't think anyone treats it as life and death, but Valentini hyped the opening, so clearly they want people to talk about it.
