The show turned out to be a really good series. I don't watch too much episodic TV anymore so this is a nice change of pace from the cable dramas. There is a touch of serialization with John Barrowman and whatnot, but not much. I never heard of Stephen Amell before this show but he is really solid, as is the woman who plays his mother and the rest of the cast. I like how they work in actual names and characters from the comic books too.

The guy who plays the best friend is actually this accomplished Broadway musical actor and is pretty talented.

"Dead to Rights" was a pretty great episode with Tommy finding out about Oliver ("Were you ever going to tell me?" "No."), and the assassination attempt on Malcolm.

Good news for Felicity  fans, Emily Rickards will be upped to a regular in season 2.

I was stunned that he revealed himself to Tommy. Stephen said at the Paley Center thing this past weekend that Tommy was the first person Oliver didn't reveal himself to by design or choice. So it'll be interesting to see how it will impact their relationship...as well as the one between Tommy and Laurel.

So so happy that Felicity will be a regular next season. Stephen also raved about her at the Paley thing. wub.pngwub.png

I wasn't there. I watched it on live stream from my living room in NC. It wouldn't do if I actually lived on the west coast. I would never be able able to work because I'd be going to all the events like that one (provided I could get a ticket).
