It wasn't even a drunken one nighter, in reality.

This promo should have focused on Abby being a crazy liar and how this impacts people. Instead they are telling stories which aren't even there.

Can what they had really be called an *affair*? A drunken one nighter? (Maybe I've had way more affairs in my life than I realized...)

In Abby's mind they had an affair. The girl is CRAZY and clearly out of touch with reality. She's made it up so that she and Austin have real feelings and a relationship even though that never happened.

I wonder if DAYS is going to go the "daddy complex" route because of Jack's frequent disappearing acts during her childhood.

That's the excuse Kate Mansi was using in interviews, but that hasn't shown up onscreen, maybe because Matt Ashford rarely appears.
