Members EricaKane70
Beaches always manages to make me cry. When that song sung by bette midler comes on, "Did you ever know that your my hero..," the tears start flowing down my face and when I see the headstone with Whitney on it, I just start balling. I don't even have to watch the whole movie, I can just watch that part and I start crying, I think my body is conditioned to cry on that scene everytime. Members WTGH
I've never cried during a movie. Every "sure tearjerker" leaves me cold: The Notebook, The Passion of the Christ, Titanic, Ghost etc. I've heard Sophie's Choice is a tragic, tragic film. I'm about to begin the book but will have to watch the movie later.

To Kill a Mockingbird (the end scene with Boo) Steel Magnolias The Phantom of the Opera (the original with Lon Chaney) I also bawled at the end of Sleepless in Seattle, and at the end of Close Encounters of the Third Kind when the little boy said bye to the aliens. Members Joshua
Oh, yes, The Fox and the Hound gets me everytime! I adore that movie. The part that gets me is when the nice old lady returns the fox to the woods after her neighbor threatens to kill him. While she was driving him there she recited a poem that had me bawling! Damn that old lady! Here's the song: We met, it seems, such a short time ago You looked at me - needing me so Yet from your sadness Our happiness grew And I found out I needed you too I remember how we used to play I recall those rainy days The fire's glow That kept us warm And now I find - we're both alone Goodbye may seem forever Farewell is like the end But in my heart is a memory And there you'll always be
