Storage Wars Texas continues to confuse me. Moe was nowhere to be found in tonight's episodes, and instead they had Roy, a former football name, apparently. He was even in the opening credits! Moe was not in those either. I don't remember Nabila being in the credits on the main Storage Wars (was she?). Is Moe gone? No big loss.

I went to Wikipedia and yet again it seems that episodes are being aired wildly out of order. The episodes last week were apparently filmed near the end of the second season, and the episodes which aired tonight were done early in the season.

I'm enjoying the show more, especially with Roy around, as he adds more of a sense of fun and wonder to the whole thing.

I guess this is over now? No new episodes this week. Anyway, I hope those of you who gave up on the show might try again - the more recent episodes were much less fake. Roy was not as much of a forced "character" as Moe, and he had a silly feud with Victor that helped carry the episodes along. I grew to like or tolerate everyone. And Victor was as strangely hot as ever. If the show is over I hope A&E puts him somewhere else.

Two new episodes tonight. Can't say I enjoyed it that much, outside of Jarod and Brandi, who are at least normal and generally likeable.

I just can't take any more of Darrell. I don't like looking at him or listening to him. I don't understand who decided that an entire episode of him verbally abusing his son was good TV.

Dave has zero purpose on the show.

I'm not getting this Darrell thing with his son.

Is Darrell just showing his *** more than usual ("fame" and a bitter divorce having made him more jerkish)?

Is it manufactured drama?

Is it manufactured drama to give Dave redeeming qualities (i.e. at least he doesn't treat his son like a piece of ****)?

I think it's supposed to be big drama, not something to take seriously, and they'll reconcile (or his son will replace Dave or whoever as a regular). Unfortunately Darryl is such a very unlikeable person that it just seems real. I barely even watch at this point.

Yeah, I always doubt the prices they "estimate" some of their stuff for. When Dave got all those books and he estimated like $14,000 but I was like you actually have to sell those books. I am betting many are just sitting around probably in storage.

Dave, especially, over-estimates the worth of his stuff. My one gripe with the show is that they almost never re-visit what the items actually sold for or if they sold. They really could stretch each episode out to an hour and do that with the second half-hour.

    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
    • I'm hoping that the new studio might have more space, meaning extra sets could be permanently erected. Perhaps the current  set issues are due to limited space available at Television City as it shuts down for the redevelopment. But if more space means spending more $$$ we might be stuck with the current situation no matter where they move.
    • Thanks @P.J. If my math is correct, Jordan Clarke runs were 1983-1987, 1989-1993, 1997-end.
    • I was/am mainlining both the Dream Season and Season 7 of KL together, since that was the year of their big creative swap. That's the most I can take of Dallas consecutively. But I've been very preoccupied with other shows and work IRL and I need to get back to it after a long break from my Knots binge.
    • Wk 1 95/96 MSW moves to Thurs, Cybill takes the Sunday slot. Thurs 8-9pm NBC Friends #3 20.5/33 The Single Guy #6 19.2/30 CBS Murder She Wrote #55 9.3/15 ABC Charlie Grace #74 7.6/12 FOX Living Single # 78 7.2/12 The Crew #80 7.0/11 Sunday 8-9pm NBC Mad about You # 15 14.6/23 Hope & Gloria #35 11.7/18 ABC Lois & Clark # 38 11.4/18 CBS Cybill #49 9.8/15 Almost Perfect #65 8.1/12 FOX Space Above & Beyond (2nd hr of 2hr episode) #51 9.5/15 60 Minutes was #19 so a lot of viewers didn't stay for Cybill. On Sunday, Sept. 24, CBS finished third on the night, and its performance among 18 -49 year olds was worse than it was with the older skewing Murder, She Wrote in the time period last year.  So moving MSW was a foolish move at that point. It was compatible with 60 Minutes and would probably have finished Top 20-25 for the week. They should have left Sunday alone and concentrated on other nights..
    • I’ve been watching Knots and FC rather compulsively for a while now. Currently in fall 1983 with both. I had Dallas in there, too, but I am rather shocked at how stale that show gets after Jock’s death. Meanwhile, I can spend hours in the vineyards and in the cul-de-sac.
    • What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?
    • I'm not sure Passions is the model to emulate here.
    • Passions had Chad sleeping with his cousin nephew Vincent, ironically played by Daphne Duplaix (disguised as Valerie)
