I watched some of GMA today for the OLTL goodbye and was surprised at how cheap and amateurish it was. And George Stephanopolous is such an awkward, oily presenter.

In the interest of being both fair and accurate, that link you mentioned is for the week of Jan. 2, 2012. "CBS This Morning" did not premiere until January 9, 2012, so those ratings reflect that last week of the "Early Show", not the new morning program.

I have already mentioned that I consider CBS This Morning to be vastly superior to Today and GMA. That being said, I was saddened that Erica Hill was dropped from the program (to be replaced by Norah O'Donnell). If anybody needs to be dropped, it should be Gayle King, who just doesn't fit in with the show's focus on hard news.

I like CBS The Morning more than the others as well. I'm sad they are booting Erica Hill because I liked her too, but I love Norah O'Donnell as well. I'm glad that CBS has been using her more than NBC ever did.
