Was there any reason to bring Noah back?

Obviously Maria is trying to have a teen story, but she fails miserably. Look at how many appearances Eden has had since she premiered back at the end of June. Same thing with Noah. Both on contract but pretty much useless.

I for one wonder whether Jess will have any appaerance before the xmas show 'cause she has already her annual guarantee in the can. We'll see whether Maria will spend the extra dime...
