Same, would love to dig in for some other soaps too. I'm sure there are archives that can be found somewhere...

Very interesting to read more about Iris in particular. I only knew she was an alcoholic and had an affair with Lee but the drama around it and Tom being involved, I had no idea.

Tom is a very interesting character. He was so unlucky first with Jessie and then with Iris. I know his upcoming relationship with Audrey and the birth of Tommy will be doomed.

Wow.  Still watching the terrific 1993 storylines on GH via Youtube (now into September).  This show's casting was so top notch in the 1990s, even the minor roles were filled by interesting choices.

At first, I thought "hey...she looks like Lorna from Another World...no, it's Skye...no, it's both!"

I had no idea Robin Christopher was on GH before she was on AW, playing assistant district attorney Abby Mitchell.

Nicki Cox playing Jagger's sister was a surprise, too.

It's remarkable how sexy the show was-- the Julia & AJ scene in the Bahamas, having sex in the rain, and back when they're in Port Charles were sizzling hot.  Felicia & Mac were cute/hot/sweet/funny so consistently.  Even Alan & Monica were getting it on passionately (not that I necessarily want to see that, but I guess it's good to be fair to all generations

).  Leigh McCloskey (Damian Smith) was such a hot addition to the show, too.  I can't wait to see what he ends up doing...

Shortland Street, as another part of its 2023 revamp, has decided to include a "patient of the week" format (complete with looks at the home lives of said patients), somewhat similar to what GH and The Doctors used to do with more patient focus. I can't say whether it's working out that well or not, but it's certainly a shift away from what you often get on soaps in recent years. This format started with the March 20, 2023 episode. You can find all the episodes from recent months on Youtube.

Thanks for this!  I have never seen this interview.  I am sure Sonny shared scenes with Dr. Hardy during the Stone story, but I legit don't remember Brenda ever having a scene with him (although she probably did).

It was also awkward for Charlie Gibson to tell MB that "heavies (like Sonny) don't last long on shows"....MB really went out of his way to prove him wrong lol.   Overall, this interview was a little weird from MB standing strangely in the background, Vanessa Marcil looking completely bored, and Charlie Gibson having no idea what he was talking about.  Also, is this only one month before Bernardino passes away?  He seems in decent health here.
