Actually it was worse a few years ago when shows like GL and Passions(and barely Days with Chelsea/Max/Stephanie) were doing incest sex/love stories while ATWT had the whole Stewart sisters as junkie hookers while Y&R had the very embarrassing Daniel's porn addiction story. Not to mention B&B had "Honey Bear!!!"

Most sex scenes today are icky not because of them being overboard or extreme but because you'd never ever want to bed a person like that. I mean good lord who wants to watch Adam and Sharon have sex?

The Quinn forcing Chloe into prostitution was done on Days in the mid-80s. In 1984, Linda blackmailed Kim into prostitution. The idea of the prostitute falling for her pimp was done a few years later with Eve falling for Nick -- and Eve was 14-15 when she started as a prostitute. I think the main difference between those storylines and today's version is that the writers focused much more on the emotional impact prostitution had on Kim and Eve than on the sex, as the experiences profoundly affected their personalities and relationships, and led to years of having to deal with the consequences of being prostitutes. The Chloe storyline just degrades the character.

I find it ridiculous that Chloe is still contemplating prostitution when that dumb silly teen girl is begging her for voice lessons. Um, hello? Voice lessons is making an honest living! Dumb beaver... This is the same girl who was singing at Carnegie Hall or something of that caliber back in 2005?

She's not resorting to being a prostitute bc its her last alternative. She's doing this bc she's being blackmailed; not for the money. Its stupid nonetheless

Stupid yes But Chloe has a choice though. She doesn't have to be a hoe. SO what she had sex with Quinn. It's not against the law. SO what he taped it. It's not a crime she had sex with him. I don't see how it's black mail

Wow, you missed the point of the storyline. Its not about being illegal or not. Its all about her son. He threatened to use the video against her and that could jeopardize her plans for custody. Chloe is not in the best place. She tried to kill herself and nearly killed Parker twice with her carelessness. She has been caught getting drunk at bars several times and was recordered making physical threats towards Kate. Thats why she lost custody and visitation to her baby in the first place. She's been working on bettering herself and then Quinn comes in and takes advantage of her situation. Sleeping with a random guy she barely knows, doesnt show the best judegementand would not have done anything to make her look favorable to the social worker on her case. Unfortunately for her, she should have just dealt with the initial video tape of her screwing him bc she's only made it worse for herself and given him even more ammunition to continue to blackmail her, Its stupid that she'd allow herself to be forced into prostitution but there was actual blackmail there to push her in that direction

No point missed. Again Chloe has a choice.. I will go no further. Not about to debate a character I dont even care for. And I will not further justify what I feel or how I feel about a storyline on Days. My view of Days and your view are different. THat what's make us unique. Missing a point, No!!
