I'm intrigued if anyone listened to Young Dr Malone in 1958-1960 and watched the TV version considering they had different storylines.

It's like when Carolyn got sexually assaulted by Adam on Dark Shadows - we barely saw anything and the aftermath was mostly her wandering down the stairs, dazed and confused. It's obvious what happened to astute viewers, but probably not for the kiddie ones.
